Warre's LBV is a premium fortified wine with a unique personality that makes it stand out from the rest. The deep red color of the wine gives a hint of the rich aromas of black fruits, plum, and black cherry that come through on the palate, accompanied by a lovely spicy nuance. The full-bodied palate is balanced well by a tannin structure that provides a long and elegant finish. Warre's LBV is made using only the best grapes selected from the Douro Valley and aged over six years in oak barrels to create its distinct character. A great wine to pair with cheese, chocolate, and fruit-based desserts.

About the Winery

Warre’s Wines was established in 1870, but the roots for this company were developed during as early as 1670. It was during this time that two men from England, William Burgoyne and John Jackson decided to start a trading company in the north part of Portugal. Today, Warre’s Wines are one of the most popular wine brands in the country.
