Ebony in colour with iodine highlights. The aromas are reminiscent of figs, raisins and dates. Enormously sweet, velvety and soft on the palate, well balanced, with a very long finish

Product Notes

Bodegas Lustau Pedro Ximénez is a rich and luxurious dessert wine that hails from the famous sherry-producing region of Jerez in Spain. Made entirely from the Pedro Ximénez grape variety, it boasts a deep, amber colour and a complex aroma of dried figs, raisins, honey, and burnt caramel. On the palate, it delivers a velvety, sweet and unctuous flavour with hints of spice and a long, satisfying finish. This wine is aged using the traditional solera system in oak barrels for an average of 12 years, giving it a depth of flavour and complexity that is hard to surpass. It is perfect as an after-dinner digestif or paired with rich desserts.

About the Winery

Bodegas Lustau

Located in Andalucia, Bodegas Lustau is a renowned Sherry producer founded by Don José Ruiz-Berdejo in 1896 as an almacenista. An almacenista typically purchases newly made wine and matures them. The individuals do so before selling the product to places that would develop it further in large-scale soleras or blend it with vintage or older wines.
