Tasting Note

Deep purple in colour. On the nose intense and complex aromas of blackberry, black cherry and plum combine with spicy notes of cocoa, floral hints of rockrose and a subtle minerality. Velvety tannins coat the palate and a crisp acidity carries the layers of flavour onto the harmonious and lengthy finish. This is a powerful yet elegant Vintage Port, with great potential for ageing for many decades to come.

Product Notes

Sandeman Vintage Port is a premium fortified wine from the Douro Valley in Portugal. This vintage port is made from a blend of the finest grapes and is aged for two years in oak barrels before it is bottled. With its deep red color and complex aroma, Sandeman Vintage Port is a wine connoisseur's dream. On the palate, it has rich, fruity undertones with a hint of spice and the tannins are well-structured, ensuring a long finish. The wine has a high alcohol content, which is typical of vintage ports. Sandeman Vintage Port can be enjoyed on its own or paired with rich, savory dishes.

About the Winery
