Product Notes

San Marzano Susco Salento Susumaniello is an exquisite wine hailing from the region of Salento in southern Italy. Produced at the renowned San Marzano winery, this wine captures the essence of the indigenous and lesser-known grape variety, Susumaniello. With a deep ruby-red color, it entices with a complex bouquet of red berries, cherry, and notes of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a delightful balance of acidity. This wine boasts a long and persistent finish, leaving behind a lingering taste of dark fruits and spices. San Marzano Susco Salento Susumaniello is a must-try wine for enthusiasts seeking a unique and memorable drinking experience.

About the Winery

San Marzano

In the year 1962, 19 winemakers of the San Marzano village in the Primitivo di Manduria DOC region of Italy, joined hands to form the Cantine San Marzano wine label. One of the major highlights of this union was that during that time, the village didn’t even belong to a formal appellation, but still the winemakers came together to create a label that was to produce wines that represented the true terroirs of Italy.
