La Spinetta Barbaresco Bordini is an exquisite wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. Made from the Nebbiolo grape, this wine offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, leather, and spice, with subtle hints of chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-structured tannins and a long finish. The grapes used to make this wine are carefully selected from the Bordini vineyard, which is situated in the Barbaresco DOCG area. This wine is aged for 20 months in oak barrels, and an additional 12 months in the bottle, allowing it to develop its unique character and flavor. La Spinetta Barbaresco Bordini is a perfect companion to beef, lamb, and venison dishes, as well as aged cheeses.

About the Winery

La Spinetta

The journey of La Spinetta started in the early years of the 1960s with Giuseppe Rivetti and Lidia, his wife. The two were dedicated and expert farmers who held a colossal amount of knowledge and appreciation for the tradition of cultivation and winemaking. They also possessed immense curiosity and interest in knowing what the future holds. Giuseppe and Lidia exemplified respect, humility, and ambition in their work and passion. The values they hold dear define and signify the philosophy of the winery of La Spinetta to this day.
