Clear, ruby red. The nose reveals intense yet elegant aromas: dried violet, currant, spices, candied peel, cocoa, hints of ash delight the senses. Strikingly well-balanced in the mouth, with elegant and smooth tactile sensations which invite further tasting. Long persistence with a finish reminiscent of dark chocolate and quinine.

Made from Malvasia Nera grapes, this wine boasts a deep ruby color and a complex bouquet of dark fruits, floral notes, and hints of spice. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance of ripe berries, earthy undertones, and a touch of balsamic acidity. The smooth tannins and long, lingering finish make it a perfect pairing for roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes, or aged cheeses. About the Winery

Li Veli

The Masseria Li Veli Winery is located on the historic Messapian area on the Salento Plains of Italy. It was during 1858 that famous Italian economist Antonio de Viti de Marco discovered this place. His sole objective was to develop this area into a state-of-the-art cellar, which would make Italy proud. During 1999, the Falvo family, which had a wide experience in the business of wine-making, developed an interest in these vineyards and took control over the place. Thanks to the family’s single-minded determination and expertise, the place was renovated and it started a new wine culture in the region of Apulia.
