Tasting Note

Pio Cesare Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and fresh, with notes of lemon sorbet, lime zest, green apple, and white peach. There are also hints of the herb and vegetable patches and freshly cut grass, which give it a ‘garden party’ kind of feel. It finds a lovely middle ground between the full-on intensity of New Zealand and the fruitlessness and minerality of the Loire, and it’s just screaming out for some al fresco dining.

Product Notes

Pio Cesare Langhe Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing and vibrant wine that is rich in flavor and aroma. This wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which are grown in the Langhe region of Piedmont in Northern Italy. The grapes are carefully hand-picked to ensure that only the highest quality grapes are used. The wine is then fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its crisp acidity and freshness. Pio Cesare Langhe Sauvignon Blanc has a beautiful pale green color and exudes aromas of green apple, lemon and floral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a zesty acidity that perfectly balances the flavors of tropical fruits, quince and ripe citrus. This wine is an ideal pairing for seafood dishes, pasta with cream sauce, or grilled white meats.

About the Winery

Pio Cesare

The origin of Pio Cesare wines can be traced back to 1881. An affluent businessman, Pio Cesare, started this wine brand in 1881, as he wanted to produce limited quantity of wines for himself and his closed ones. He wanted to make the most of the fertile regions on the hills of Barolo and Barbaresco and create special wines from here. However, with every year, his passion for winemaking increased multifold.
