Tasting Note

The wine displays a brilliant pale straw in the glass. Lifted white floral aromas with lemon, limes and hint of spice on the nose. The pallet leads with citrus and a silky line, wet slate and fresh ginger with juicy melon through the mid palate. Finishing with a talc like minerality and juicy acidity.

Product Notes

Jim Barry Lodge Hill Riesling is a crisp and refreshing white wine from the Clare Valley region of South Australia. It is made using the Riesling grape variety, which is known for its high acidity and ability to express terroir. The wine is characterized by its delicate aromas of lime, lemon, and jasmine flowers, which give way to a bright and zesty palate of green apple and citrus fruits. Jim Barry Lodge Hill Riesling is the perfect accompaniment to seafood dishes, salads, and spicy cuisines. This wine is ideal for those who appreciate elegant and complex white wines with a fresh and minerally finish.

About the Winery

Jim Barry

Located in the Clare Valley region of Australia, the Jim Barry wine label was established during 1959 by Jim Barry. The wines produced by him were known for their unique character and flavour. When he started making wines in this region, he was the first qualified person to do so. His wines were mostly made from varietals such as Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, his family members have taken over this brand.
