Tasting Note

The wine displays a beautiful violet colour, typical of Dolcetto. The nose reveals floral notes with high-toned violet and rose petals wrapped around a core of raspberry jam. On the palate, it is fresh and crisp with vibrant red fruit flavours, well balanced tannins, and a savoury, exuberant character.

About the Winery

Domenico Clerico

Domenico Clerico is one of the legendary names of Barolo, a winery that helped shape the modern identity of the region. The estate is based in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe hills, and was founded in the late 1970s when Domenico “Mimmo” Clerico took over a small family farm. Instead of focusing on bulk wine, he set out to express the full potential of Monforte’s vineyards, gradually acquiring parcels in some of the area’s most prized crus, including Ginestra, Pajana, and Mosconi.
