Tasting Note

Pale gold with a delicate bead. Intense aromas of citrus zest, lemon curd and sea spray are overlaid with complex notes of sweet brioche, toast and nougat. The palate is elegantly structured with preserved lemon, white peach, wild strawberries and rose water. Four years of ageing on yeast lees in bottle has built further complexity and subtle nuances of nougat and roasted hazelnuts. With a refreshing natural acidity on the finish, Jansz Tasmania Vintage Cuvée 2015 is a sparkling wine of finesse, power and elegance.

Product Notes

Jansz Vintage Cuvée is a premium sparkling wine that is produced from the finest Tasmanian grapes. It is crafted using a blend of 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir, which are carefully selected from the vineyards of the Pipers River region. The wine is aged for at least three years in the bottle, which allows it to develop complex flavors and aromas. It has a beautiful pale gold color and a soft, creamy mousse. The nose is dominated by delicate citrus notes, whilst the palate is rich and full, with hints of nutmeg, brioche, and yeast. Overall, Jansz Vintage Cuvée is a sophisticated, elegant, and refined sparkling wine that is perfect for any special occasion.

About the Winery

Jansz

The entire Jansz journey started some 400 years ago on a ship belonging to Abel Tasman, and that is how Tasmania was born in 1642. The area is a true paradise, and the wind that blows here gives it one of the best microclimates.
