Product Notes

Frankland Estate Rocky Gully Shiraz is a beautifully crafted wine that reflects the unique terroir of the Frankland River region in Western Australia. The Shiraz grapes are handpicked from the estate's own vineyards, ensuring only the highest quality fruit is selected. This wine has an intense ruby color and a complex nose of blackberries, cassis, and hints of spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with soft tannins, displaying flavors of ripe dark fruits, black pepper, and cedar. The finish is long and lingering, with a perfect balance of acidity and tannins that will have you reaching for another glass. This Shiraz is a great match for red meat, game, and stews, or perfect enjoyed on its own.

About the Winery

Frankland Estate

Frankland Estate is one of Australia’s most renowned wineries, established in 1988 by Judi Cullam and Barrie Smith. Located in the district of the Frankland River, the area enjoys a cold and pleasant climate that is typical to the southwestern coast of Western Australia. Since its foundation, the couple has remained invested and involved in the winery and its vineyards’ operation and management. They share and hold the responsibility of the estate’s winemaking and overall working. In recent times, their children Hunter and Elizabeth Smith, have taken over the roles. They aim to drive the family business forward and to a new level.
