Tasting Note

Bright, amber/copper colour. On the nose, a complex and seductive combination of aromas of cigar box, toffee and cedar wood with hints of fresh, black fruits. Very elegant and enveloping on the palate, combining freshness with ageing, showing notes of dried fruits and orange peel along with floral and menthol undertones, ending in a long and velvety finish.

Product Notes

Churchill's 30 Year Old Tawny Port boasts an exquisite balance of rich and complex flavors that have matured over three decades of aging in oak casks. This Port is made from a blend of grapes, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, and Tinta Barroca, sourced from the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior regions in Portugal. The result is a dark amber color with aromas of caramel, nuts, and dried fruit leading to a palate of smooth, velvety texture with notes of toasted hazelnuts, dried figs, and orange peel. A perfect dessert accompaniment or a delightful way to end a memorable dinner.

About the Winery

Churchill's

Churchill’s is a renowned winery located in the wine region of the Douro in Portugal. Established by Johnny Graham in 1981, the company serves as the last independent and existing British port house in the area. Born and educated in Porto, the youngest son of the Graham family committed himself to learn the craft and art of port-making after his father had to sell their business in 1970. Since he was 20, Johnny worked and toiled in Douro Valley’s terraced vineyards.
